Presidential candidates’ enrollment starts April 9

TEHRAN – The Iranian Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday that the date to register to contest the presidential election will start on April 9.

Ali Asqar Ahmadi, the election headquarters chief, also said the enrollment to run in the council election will start on March 19 and last for seven days. 

The presidential and council elections will be held simultaneously on May 19.
